Product description
The double-cone mixer is a powder mixing equipment widely used in
the pharmaceutical, chemical, food and other industries. Its core
structure is composed of two conical heads connected with a central
cylinder, and the whole is in a double-cone shape. This equipment
has the characteristics of high mixing efficiency, good mixing
uniformity, simple operation, thorough discharging and low residual
content. It is suitable for the mixing of dry powder and granular
materials, and performs exceptionally well in production scenarios
with high requirements for mixing accuracy.
Working principle
The working principle of the double-cone mixer is to utilize the
rotation of the double-conical cylinder around the horizontal axis
to enable efficient mixing of the materials in an asymmetric space.
During operation, the cylinder rotates at a speed of 5 to 20
revolutions per minute. The materials inside the cylinder are
carried to a higher position by the cylinder and then slide down to
a lower position under the influence of gravity.
Meanwhile, due to the asymmetry of the double-cone structure, the
materials are constantly divided, turned over, and their movement
trajectories change. Different component particles break their
original distribution through continuous displacement, collision,
and interpenetration. Through forced convection and diffusion
movements, overall uniform mixing is gradually achieved. Its design
reduces mixing dead zones and, with a reasonable loading volume
(50%-70% of the volume), can efficiently complete the mixing of dry
powder or granular materials.

2. Food: Infant formula is a blend of vitamins and milk powder,
which causes low damage and leaves little residue, meeting food
hygiene standards.
3. Chemical engineering: When the catalyst is mixed with the
binder, a spray device can be installed to achieve solid-liquid
integration.
4. Ceramics: Mix barium titanate powder with MLCC to ensure
consistency in dielectric constant.
5. Agricultural: Wettable powder is mixed in batches, sealed to
prevent leakage, and the unloading efficiency is high.
6. Research and Development: Small-batch new material formula
research and development in the laboratory, supporting flexible
parameter adjustment.
