Product Characteristics
Curing via atmospheric moisture forms a durable elastomer.
Tack-free time is ~1 hour; full cure through 3mm depth requires 48
hours at 25°C/50% RH. Post-cure properties include Shore A hardness
45, tensile strength 46 kg/cm², elongation 250%, and shear strength
12 kg/cm² (100% cohesive failure). Superior electrical properties:
dielectric strength 20 kV/mm, volume resistivity 3×10¹⁵ Ω·cm,
dielectric constant 2.8 at 100Hz.
Enhanced Attributes
Unlike acetic acid-cure sealants, RTV133's alcohol release enables
use in confined spaces (e.g., electronic enclosures). Its
non-halogen flame-retardant system achieves UL94 V-0 rating (lab
conditions), with thermal conductivity 0.21 W/mK and coefficient of
expansion <27×10⁻⁵ cm/cm/°C. Maximum application thickness 6mm;
thicker sections require addition-cure or two-part alternatives.
Self-adhesive to metals/glass/ceramics; difficult substrates
require SS4004/4044/4179 primers.
