Niobium Zirconium Alloys Targets introduce:

The binary alloy with zirconium as the base and the element niobium is added, and the basic composition is Zr-1%Nb and Zr-2.5Nb%. It has good corrosion resistance to acid, alkali, and salt. It has good corrosion resistance and mechanical properties to high temperature and high-pressure water and steam at 300~400℃.

The most prominent is that a new oxide film with protective ability can grow again at the place where the oxide film is peeled off, and there is no obvious corrosion turning point. The tensile strength is 84MPa, the yield strength is 78MPa, and the elongation is 15%. It is prepared by the consumable electrode smelting process. Cladding materials for heavy water reactors, nuclear power plants, and submarine reactors.
